The arts are a priority in Jesuit Education, and at St. Francis we are pleased to offer many opportunities to develop these gifts. Every student attends Art and Music on a regular basis. These classes focus on appreciation, application of skills and allows all students the opportunity to develop artistic talents. Our musical ensembles develop instrumental and vocal techniques and talents for all interested students. For the theatrical students, multiple opportunities are available to learn this craft and perform for live audiences.

Music

Music plays an instrumental role in fostering excellence in mind, body, and spirit . Students in Preschool through 5th Grade meet weekly to sing, play classroom instruments, move to music and compose/arrange music during their classes. In Junior High, students have the opportunity to take music electives ranging from Guitar, Ukulele, Percussion, Choir, and Music Production. Performances are offered throughout the school year and include a Christmas Concert and a Spring Showcase.
