Summer Math & Reading
This summer, we ask all students to help prevent the summer slide by reading and practicing their math skills. Research tells us that students who begin school after a summer of reading and math review, begin the year stronger and make immediate gains.
Please see below for the Summer Reading & Math assignments by grade level. We will not be sending home printed copies, so you will need to download and print on your own. Rising Kindergarten through 2nd Grade This summer we are offering a homework choice board to create differentiated, higher level thinking opportunities at home. We are very excited about this as it will allow students to take ownership of their own learning. Please be sure to return the homework choice board (signed) as well as any of the required activities during the first week of school. Ensure that your child has written his/her name and date on each assignment. Click on the button below to download it. Rising 3rd - 5th Grade

Reading Over the summer, students are asked to continue with their reading goals to maintain their intellectual competence and be open to growth. Students are required to read two books: the first is required and the second is to be chosen from the provided options. Students will take a quiz over the required book during the first week of school, and turn in a detailed one pager assignment for the choice novel. Flat Francis Summer Fun
