Thanksgiving Food Drive

November is the “Month of Thanks” and as such, our students will be participating in activities based on this theme as they demonstrate the student learning objectives of loving, religious, and committed to justice. One activity is our food drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul and the SFX Angel Fund. Each student will bring home a grocery bag for your family the week of November 9th. We are asking each family to either bring in a gift card for a grocery store OR decorate the bag with symbols and words that represent what they are thankful for, then fill the bag with items needed by St. Vincent de Paul (see below) and bring it to school on Wednesday, November 18th.. Fast Facts:

Bring your gift card or bags to school on Wednesday, November 18th
Purchase a gift card to a grocery store (make sure the amount is marked)

Decorate the paper bag with words and pictures of things you are thankful for (one bag per family)
In order to reinforce the paper bags, please place a plastic grocery bag inside.
Fill your bag with the following items needed by St. Vincent de Paul.

PreSchool and Kindergarten: Toothpaste (single tubes)
1st grade: Bar Soap
2nd and 3rd grade: Boxes of Cereal
4th and 5th Grade: Shampoo
6th, 7th and 8th Grade: Toilet Paper
